Bullying is aggressive, unwanted behavior among school-aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated or has the potential to repeat over time. Children who are bullied and those who bully others can have serious problems. It also happens in workplaces, in public and on the Internet. Bullying occurs everywhere and can affect people of all ages. Bullies have always been part of the development of any group, from the earliest civilizations and across regions, armies, schools and businesses. In the early 1980s, the issue of sexual harassment in the workplace became a major public concern. In the United States, bullying first became a major public problem, when some schools and government agencies took an interest in guarding against it. Later this spread to private workplaces. In the next paragraph of the essay, I will talk about the different types of bullying. There are 4 common types of bullying. Verbal bullying, social bullying, physical bullying and cyberbullying. First, verbal bullying involves saying or writing mean things. For example, tease: make fun of people, taunt: annoy and annoy someone by making derogatory remarks and threatening to harm them. Second, social bullying involves harming a person's reputation or relationships. For example, leaving someone out on purpose, telling other children not to be friends with someone, spreading rumors about someone, and embarrassing someone in public. Third, physical bullying involves harming a person's body or property. For example, hitting, kicking, punching, and making mean or rude hand gestures. Fourth, cyberbullying occurs both publicly and privately. This involves the use of digital technologies such as computers and smartphones. For example, sending hurtful texts, posting images or videos that could hurt a person, and imitating others online. Bullying occurs in urban areas, suburbs and rural areas were all equally likely to be bullied. Suburban youth were slightly less likely and rural youth slightly more likely than the national average to bully others. Bullying tends to occur most often in and around schools, especially in areas where there is little or no adult supervision. Example in the playground, hallways, cafeteria, classroom before the lesson begins. The next point in this essay is signs of bullying. There are many warning signs that can help you recognize that someone is being bullied or that someone is bullying others.
