Macbeth in Shakespeare's play, who was a loyal, brave and honorable knight, protected his king from a traitor. His wife, Lady Macbeth, is a stronger, more dominant character in the relationship with Macbeth. She is also a hideous woman, who influences her husband into committing murder by insulting and criticizing him. After successfully killing King Duncan, Macbeth quickly continued to kill more people who might get in his way, even his best friend and family. When a person commits a crime, they feel guilty for what they have done. They will lose control of their minds, perhaps commit more crimes, live a life of fear, and hide their sins. Shakespeare reveals his messages in three different concrete symbols throughout the play; these are the candle, the crown and the dagger. These symbols appear at different times and in different forms, but they are linked to each other and represent a message from Shakespeare, guilt. Lady Macbeth is satisfied with becoming queen but she cannot escape what she has done. Lady Macbeth believes that if her plan succeeds, she will live a life of happiness and forget the past. This doesn't seem to be going well for her; she faces its consequences, the battle between her mind and her evil heart. On the other hand, his wickedness is revealed through his actions and words.
