Many countries have already been colonized around the world. India is one of those countries which have been greatly affected by Britain. From the 16th century to the 20th century, the British colonialist began aggression and expansion. England has already ruled many countries using force. Absolutely, India has become the target due to its high product diversity and lack of military power. The old country suffered from the colonial character. With the English invasion, many parts of India were changed, including culture, traditions and political structure. They also influenced the Indians linguistically. Earlier, they usually used Hindi, but now they almost use English. Some changes are positive while others are negative. Overall, in my opinion, the changes brought about by the mixing of cultures are more harmful than positive for India. The positive elements are transportation, political structure and advanced technologies. The negative elements are problems with language, traditional culture and religion. While the English ruled India, they used an effective means to destroy the revolt of the Indians. They taught Indian English instead of their original language. Hindi is the traditional language of India and its history dates back thousands of years. English gives Indians more opportunities in world affairs and gives them a higher status in the world, but at the same time it poses many problems. Since Indians use English to communicate with foreigners, they have forgotten the original language. Most young people recognize that English is more fashionable.
