They were bullied and tossed around and went from threat to laughing stock in a matter of weeks. This would make them thirst for revenge. The reason this would be the most important outcome of the Franco-Prussian War was because the French had sworn revenge, and with this promise, the next war that would take place would be a war that would change humanity: and this war would be the Great War. , or the beginning of an era known as the First World War.
