There were times when the only camera I had with me was a smartphone, which I used because that's what I had on me at that time, but I still haven't done it. I didn't get the photo I wanted due to the innate limitations of shooting on such a device. You could say that taking a photo is better than no photo - and I would even agree to some extent - but getting the photo I envisioned is even better, and when I had a more powerful camera on me, I had a better chance of accomplishing it. . This led me to take more photos that I was proud to put in my portfolio and offer for sale on stock photography.
