During this time, I will continue to work as a nursing assistant as well as a pharmacy technician at Fairview Health, assisting individuals in any way possible. As I research the program, I will strive to absorb as much occupational therapy as possible and ultimately begin my career as an occupational therapist. Ideally, my plan is to achieve my short-term goals within three years. My long-term goal is to work as an occupational therapist and continually improve the lives of the patients I work with. As I continue my career as a therapist, I will constantly improve my skills and training. I believe occupational therapy is the career that will help me achieve my short and long term goals. This will also help me fulfill my ongoing desire to interact and improve the quality of life of people in need of an occupational therapist. My short and long term goals are primarily focused on improving myself and improving my education to be able to better care for people. I believe there is always room for improvement in everything we do and we should always keep that in mind.
