  • Essay / Modern Technology: The Negative Effects of Cyberbullying

Naturally, teachers or parents don't hear about more than half of the situations involving teens being bullied. It's more than likely that teens aren't reporting it because they don't want to be the center of attention or be insulted for "reporting or reporting the bully." This gives them no voice to defend themselves and no action is taken by anyone to help improve this situation. Teenagers who have no voice and no other options began to have depressive thoughts. In recent years, cyberbullying has been linked to adolescent suicide. It may seem like the only option for teens, but in the end, a loved one is lost and their voice finally speaks out and speaks about what could never have been said.
