  • Essay / An Essay on Photojournalism - 1281

Throughout history, social justice issues have occurred all over the world. There is a different solution for everyone. Each solution is complex and requires a lot of work. But there is a key step to solving almost every social justice problem. Make people aware of what is happening. If no one knows what's going on in the world, they can't take action to help solve it. Photojournalism on social justice issues shows people what's happening in the world. This strategy was used over 100 years ago and even more so today. Photojournalism is what gets people's attention. If they see the graphic and visual images, they will want to help solve the problem. When a person sees a picture of the brutal wars taking place in Syria or Ukraine, the war is about to end. Well, not in all cases. People who receive this information must take action themselves. Photojournalism, while essential to helping address social justice issues, is only a stepping stone in the right direction. If he didn't take these photos, people wouldn't realize the harshness of life in the slums and wouldn't take action. But what exactly is photojournalism? Photojournalists are different from photographers. Photographers take pictures of names. They capture people, places and things. Photojournalists differ in that they photograph actions or verbs. This draws public attention to information that photojournalists...... middle of paper......, the most important part is not taking great photos or writing. It's about getting the message across. Pictures and writing prove to be the best ways to capture the full picture of what is happening. If you see an injustice that you want to correct, talk to someone about it. Take action! Let others know what you think. If everyone kept their feelings buried inside themselves, the world would never get anywhere. The problems will not resolve themselves. People need to identify what is wrong and do something about it. So far, the human race has done pretty well. However, there are many issues today, such as gun laws and same-sex marriage, that people cannot agree on and have not been resolved. There were individuals who insisted and demanded justice, but who did not obtain it. The best advice would be to continue to strive for righteousness and get others to help you..
