The average person in Chicago can't legally have access to a gun, but people can still get their hands on them. This significantly proves that a gun ban will only harm this country and increase criminal activity. Most of those who oppose the Second Amendment want other major cities to follow Chicago's lead on gun laws. Once these other cities begin to take their cues from the city of Chicago, we will immediately begin to see an increase in violence, drug use, and gun crime. Schools are also victims of the curse of “gun-free zones.” Major criminals know that in these areas no one can stand up to them, giving them plenty of time to commit these dastardly acts and escape unscathed.
