Essay / Teachers, reflections, questions, decisions - 1834
Teaching involves an analysis of these aspects, questions, decisions and thinking about them gives me the idea that, to become a teacher, one must think about all its components. This essay will only show four parts of the unit taught so far, professionalism and ethics, strategies that can be used to motivate students, a positive classroom environment, and proactive classroom management. What needs to be shown is how effective a teacher can be based on the knowledge transmitted to him. Teaching – Some people will often say about teachers that they don't do enough, they don't care. What do teachers do? How do they make a difference? A teacher must question students and question everything. They make them apologize and mean it. Students must learn responsibility and respect. A teacher must teach students to read and write and to read even more. A teacher knows he makes a difference. The teaching profession has become one of the most popular and important professions in the world in recent years. The role of a teacher is to shape a child's mind and help them grow, to the best of their abilities. A teacher must be professional in every way. Academically, a teacher will need to be formally trained at a tertiary level, as they must have the skills to teach and assess a student. Teachers must also dedicate themselves to continuing education which can last for years. Many new programs are always being made available for staff training. Teachers are highly visible to the public and, as such, must display a professional appearance. Wearing casual, ill-advised and tight clothing would not be the wisest decision a teacher could make. At all times one should be dressed smartly...... middle of paper......ing is a rewarding position to be in as a teacher. Rewarding means having the privilege of working with students and making a difference in a child's mind as they grow. A teacher must constantly think about how they teach, the decisions they make, and the questions they are asked. It is a profession worth the years of study one must undertake to complete.ReferencesBennett, B. Smilanic, P. 1994CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT: A thinking & caring ApproachNelsen, J., Lott, L. and Glenn, S.
